Meet Matthew

Matthew Elliott is an Intern at Streamline Wellness Center.

In his role, Matthew learns from and supports experienced counselors while helping deliver Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) to youth. He helps build strong connections with youth, participates in all activities, and brings his innovative ideas to help improve future lessons. 

Matthew graduated from Old Dominion University in May 2026 with a degree in Human Services. He wants to further his education by getting his Master's in Social Work. Matthew has been working with kids for five years now and has been able to connect with kids very easily and on a deeper level. 

Matthew’s favorite thing about living in RVA is the diversity that it comes with and the overall expansion that has happened over the years. He thinks RVA has grown in many different ways, and it has come a long way from a few neighborhoods, stores, and trees.
