Meet Mae
Mae Carter, LCSW, is the Chief Clinical Officer at Streamline Wellness Center.
In her role, Mae leads the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance social-emotional learning (SEL) and expand access to outpatient services. Her work focuses on creating impactful, evidence-based programming that supports both youth and adults in building emotional resilience, improving overall well-being, and achieving positive outcomes. She collaborates with schools, community partners, and clinical providers to ensure services are accessible, effective, and aligned with the needs of the communities they serve.
Mae has over 10 years of experience in leadership roles focused on expanding mental health services across a variety of settings. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Union University and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from the University of Mississippi. She has maintained an active LCSW since 2022 and is a board-certified supervisor.
Her favorite thing about living in Richmond is the strong sense of community, the resilience of its people, and the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of youth and families across the city.
